All helpers, volunteers and staff involved involved in our programs for those under 18 have completed NSW Working with Children Checks and we are working to put all our NewDay Church volunteers through Safe Spaces Training every three years.
Friday nights are a chance for high schoolers to put the school week behind them, have heaps of fun and make some good friends. During school term we provide programs and hangout spaces for youth to come and experience life to the full. It’s a fun, safe and welcoming youth community who come to have a good time.
If you’re in year 6-12, come and join us from 7:00pm to 9:30pm
Each Sunday night from 5pm we come together for an hour to authentically connect with Jesus and each other through music, real-life stories and a short talk. Our youth and young adult community runs a high quality night service with a quality that also caters to all ages. After the service we share an informal dinner together which costs a few dollars.
Youth Life Groups are small groups where youth can gather to engage with Jesus further, ask questions and to more fully grasp how to live in ways that will help a generation see the authentic difference faith makes. They are a great way to build stronger relationships and faith.
All our leaders and helpers have completed Working with Children Checks through NSW Child Services and some of our leaders and helpers hold current first aid certification. We also have policies around signing out of our programs, driving youth in leader’s cars and photo permission.
Please chat to a leader if you have any questions or want to get involved. You can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
